|
|
Hi
I have a TTNV3 at the minute with a problematic IPAQ so I am thinking of changing to the all new TTG 300, 500 or 700. I think I am leaning towards the 500 or 700 as the phone functionality looks good to me (one less gadget and the SHMBO can have my existing hands-free headset).
BUT
1: Has anyone seen this Phone Functionality in operation ie. On the Road, quality????
2: With my TTNV3 I like the fact that I can add and name my own POI because I travel a lot of miles a day to see clients and I put them in as a POI and under the category of eg. Clients, can I do this manual adding with the new GO's?
3: Can you go into the map and find a location and then save it as a Favourite or a POI like you can with the TTNV3. Such as a Farmhouse in the middle of nowhere that you need to get to so you go onto MULTIMAP or similar and find it then find the closest road to it then go into the TTNV3 and select Map instead of Navigator and then scroll across the map to find that "road" near your "farmhouse in the middle of nowhere" and then hold the stylus down and then save it as a Fav. or a POI, can you do it on the new GO's?
I think that is it, all advice is welcome and thanks in advance! |

Cheers Rayflan
1 Good point, bit of a School Boy Error from me there sorry.
2 Using current GPS position, ok then so it is similar to TTNV3 with that then and I pressume that you can do that "manually" too as in via the map without GPS, yes? |
