Good work!

However is there any way we can change the actual prefernces menu? I dont like to have preferences (e.g. Set Backlight) on the main menu, I'd rather add that into the preferences menu.

ok, kind of figured it out..... add something like

MENUBLOCK|BLOCK_PREF|BTM_DONE|
MENUPAGE|TASK_PAGE2|Main Menu|
MENUITEM|TASK_SET_BACKLIGHT|
MENUITEM|TASK_SET_PROMPT|
MENUITEM|TASK_PAGE2|

Will post more info when I have completely figured it out.

Sorry to keep on about this, but have any Palm users got this working?

I am still not sure if I am being stupid, or that simply this won't work on the Palm!

I don't want to spend any more time on it, if I am simply wasting my time!

@ Mark, create a notepad .txt document named TomTom.txt - then change the file extension to .mnu

Then use Notepad to open it up & paste in the following, make sure you don't add an extra space at the end. If you still have problems PM me your e-mail & I'll send it to you.

MENUBLOCK|BLOCK_MAIN|BTM_GPS_POSITION|

Wel, to use an answer often used in Dutch politics: Yes and No

Yes, this is where you have to muck around
No, you don't "paste" a registry file

Now you know why the Dutch just couldn't make up their mind on the EU and ended up saying no.

Here's what you do:

1-You go to the TomTom directory.
2-You make a new DIRECTORY called SDKRegistry
3-You open the newly made SDKRegistry directory
4-You copy your TomTom.mnu file over

That's it! Much simpler than Dutch politics and probably not half as convoluted as you might have thought ;-))
