Change TT5 menu possible

I believe that on the menubuilder website, there is an option for the other saubmenue directly below the main menu. I think it is called preferences menu.

I have looked at the Menu builder site and only allow to edit the top level menu pages + the preference page. Does any on know how to edit the Navigation sub menu?

I would like to change the Navigate menu so that it reads:

Page 1
Address Favourite
POI Postcode
Point on map Next Page

Page 2
Home Recent destination
City centre GPS Position
POI in city Next page

That is I want to brin postcode and point on map forward as these are frequently used.

Blocks

There are two blocks that can currently be defined in a menu file:

At block-level, the following items can be defined to be shown at the bottom of the screen. Each menu-page of that block will show the BTM_options defined for that block.

Special Tasks

TASK_EMPTY, no task and this option will be shown as a blanc spot in the 6-option menu

TASK_PAGEn, (n is in the range 1-20) a number identifying the custom menu page
TASK_SDKn, (n is in the range 1-50) a command to be sent to a client application, as defined in a capability file

hi ya i wont to change the navigate to menu i wont postcode and home on the 1st page and favourite on the 2nd page do you know how to do it please

I used the Windows app at http://www.gregoryduncan.com/ttmd/index.htm to design my menus. It's very easy to use but doesn't have instructions on where to put the resulting mnu file on a PPC. However, lbendlin told me to put it in \TomTom\SdkRegistry and it works fine.

As has been said here though, TomTom does not allow you to change the submenus Crying or Very sad

but it's great having my own menus now :D

Why is the rotate screen by 90 degrees option not available from the menu builder when it is accessible via the preferences submenu?

I am having problems trying to get POI Warner in the menus. All SDK commands keep displaying in TomTom as Mobile phone and when pressed nothing appears to happen. Any one any ideas how to rectify. My current menu file is listed below:

I believe you have to put in a number for the SDK applications. I'm afraid it is just trial and error on that one.

Start at 1 and work your way up.

For those, like me, who tried to have custom menu on their Palm and wasn't able to get anything... It's not our fault! There is a bug in the latest TT5 for Palm platform... Sad
