TT5 missing "yards"

I've just upgraded from TT3 to TT5. I'm a Mac user and do not have access to a PC. After copying the installation CD's onto a series of CF cards the installation has seemed to go OK using the CAB files direst onto my iPaq5550.
Everything seems to be working so far except that the sound file "yards" appears to be missing. "In 200 yards" becomes "In 200". If I change the units to Kilometers it becomes "In 200 metres" it's just the word "yards" that is missing.
I'm wondering if I installed all the files I needed to?
Where are the TT5 sound files on my iPaq?
Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like the dataxx.chk file for the voice you are using either is corrupt or is indeed missing that sound. Try with another voice.

I have tried it with two different English voices with the same result.
I'm not ready to go metric yet so I could do with cracking this.

I like miles but not yards (something to do with my age ) so I really prefer the decimal miles, ie 0.5 mile.
