Hi everyone :D . Have upgraded to TT5. Is it possible to use the TomTom Spoken warnings for POI alerts on IPAQ 2210? If so how is it done? 8O

cheers soweezy...I've read that, but a bit complicated for me. Just want to know if it will work on my gizmo?

I have a custom POI voice file, it was made Ray, his web site is here
you probably need #5

copy the data.chk file into Program Files/Navigator on your Ipaq, remember to rename the current file before you do, I think the Ipaq doesn't show the extension so the file is probably called data

Hi,

I'm being a bit thick here I'm afraid... I have an HX4700 - and have just upgraded to TTN5.

I've followed the link re: Voice POIs (rather than the supplied beeps) - but it doesn't appear to mention TTN5 - only GO and TomTom 2004...

Many thanks - that was the link I was looking at - but I missed the significance of the table at the top of the page! Embarassed

Anyone else find the voice warnings very quiet. I know that TT5 adjusts volume based on speed but it is very quiet compared to TT3.

i have just added them to my ipaq2210 and found them to be quite loud ,but then tt5 is turned up to 100%

its just a shame that some of them dont tie in with the gatso and mobile cameras from this site ,but thats ok i just used gatso on most of them Smile
