Upgrading to TomTom 5 and need to know what size of SD card I will need?
Could anyone please tell me the file sizes for all the europe maps that are provided with the 5 upgrade and the Uk only map size file.
I think the postcode file has to also be on the sd card and therfore what is the size of this file ?
I hope I can use my existing 128 card that came with my HP iPAQ rz1710 TomTom package.
Thanks

You will just get GB and Poscodes on that, but no MRE so don't install the Plus version of the map.
remove al lfiles from the card before oy ustart - you not only don;t need them, but the card will install TT4 over TT5 every time you insert the card if you leave things as they are. Once you have done that, create an empty folder called TomTom as otherise Postcode does not work. |

Thanks for the info but what is MRE ?
I would hope there is room on the SD card for speed camera PIOs could you give me the actual size of the files ?
Will I have to remove the existing speed camera PIO file from the SD card ? |

You will get some POIs, but probably not much. It probably depends which set of camera files you go for. |
