After updating TomTom Navigator to ver 1.51 it won't recognise the wav files for voice direction, have tried installing before and reinstalling them after update and have also tried installing different voice files but still keep getting the box telling me that I have not installed any voice files, any sugestions would be welcome. |

This sounds to me that you probably installed TomTom Navigator say to the Storage Card initially, and you then ran the update and installed them to the default memory location (or vice versa).
I would recommend leaving the maps there, uninstalling TomTom Navigator and GPS Support program from REMOVE PROGRAMS and also the Pocket Speech option if it's resident, check in \Program Files that TomTom directories don't exist, if they do, delete them. Then reinstall from the original CD, check it's working then run the 1.51 update. |

Thanks for your sugestion, got it working - after several attempts, it seems you have to use all the default install locations, originally I had put wav files on mem card which previous version did not have a proplem with. |

Yep, you must install the whole of TomTom Navigator to main memory, but you can install the maps to a storage card. If you try to mix and match it will cause problems. Unfortunately this problem has been around since the early days of TomTom CityMaps and RoutePlanner and hasn't been rectified yet. |
