Could anybody offer some advice as to the best way to install the TT5 upgrade ?
I have an Axim X3 using TT3 which I use just for navigation with a 256MB SD
Here's my querries in no particular order,
1, Does the upgrade delete my existing POI's & favourites ?
2, Would I be better deleting everything and doing a clean install ?
Obviously only after doing a full back up 8O
3, Does the upgrade install itself ?
I've not got TT5 yet but I'm getting the feeling that's it's not far away.
Either that or I've got trapped wind

I would copy your card contents to a folder on your computer. Favourites should be saved as POI first - you can do that in TT4 - I don't know about earlier versions. Once you install TT5 fro CD you can just copy OV2 and BMP files for each POI category to the relevant map folder on the card from your computer if they have been lost. |

Thanks for the swift reply :D
Doesn't look like I can copy favourites as POI's
But I've not got that many so I'll just have to key them in manually.
Just checked TT for my order and it no longer says "Warehouse"
So I hope that "Elvis" has left the building
