I am having nothing but hassle today - look for my name in other posts.

I have just bought TTN5 BT and have gone through the install exactly as per the instructions but when I start up Tom Tom I get No GPS Device although the BT Receiver is on.

I have used another application (GPS Tuner) and that connects OK.

I can also connect under GPS Manager but TomTom wont connect.

I have an Ipag 4150 that worked fine with TTN3 (Which i have uninstalled by the way)

Any advice would be much appreciated as I am going away in the next couple of days and need to use TomTom.

Many Thanks

I feel a little foolish now Embarassed

The reason I was getting No GPS Device is because I was indoors and I wasn't getting a satellite fix.

In my defence though, in TTN3 it said 'No valid GPS signal' which would make more sense.
Also the old BT receiver had a solid blue light when connected and this one doesn't.

I hope my mistake helps others out 8O

Hmmmm... odd. I have no idea what was going on in your case, but when TT5 on my iPAQ can't find the GPS (because it's turned off) it gives the error message you were saying, but if it does find the GPS but there is no fix, it gives a different message.

Anyway, at least you're all connected and working now...
