TT3 major roads conflict with detailed maps

hi all

anybody know the anwer to this?

If I install a detailed map of say france do I have to uninstall the major roads first?

going to france in the summer and I have the option of using a full set of french maps or the major roads.

I have tried to install the full map but TTN cant see the extra map when i go for switch maps.

pull the storage card out and put it back in - this should help TomTom find the other map. If it still doesn't find it then you are using incompatible map releases.

i installed TTN3.01 onto my CF and that seems to have done the trick - I think.

will checkout the operation of 3.07 UK maps tomorrow.
