new super fast panasnoic 10m/sec and regular lockups

panasonic 512meg, (made in japan etc) tomtom3 hx2110 haicom 303e mmf...

locking up every two/three minutes, it sall new gear, so i have no idea if any one part is causing the problem,

any one know of any firmware/software updates for any of this kit that may resolve the issue?

weirdly it can be fixed by going to the gps screen in tomtom hitting the gps tab, unchecking and rechecking the tickbox in the corner brings it back to life..???!!

but doing this every couple of minutes is driving me nuts.

in the gps settings i have it as tomtom navigator gps in the top tab, and cf_card generic in the bottom tab...

upgrading the firmware on the 2110 seems to resolve this issue.
[for anyone else with the same]
at least it has mine, that and dumping the haicom driver and using the nmea 0183v2 4800
