Back up via activesync not working!!!!

I have tried to make a backup copy from my Medion MD 95900 using activesync but all I get is an error message telling me to restart Windows XP pro and then restart activesync.

Is there something I am doing wrong?? I install the software from the cd, connected the md 95900 via the usb cable, folowed the instructions on the screen but could not make a backup..

I was hoping to install the speed camera software using the instrucions from www.amngps4.wanadoo.co.uk.

Can someone point me in the right direction please.
