Format SD card and reinstall

Hi there !

I'd like to make a clean install of the application, and Maps of western Europe, on my 512 Kingston SD card.

I have all my POI's saved on my PC, so not problem.

What what should the procedure be to format the card, install the release 5, as well as the Maps of Major Europe upgrade package (I got the 6 CD's) ?

I don't think it matters too much what order you do things in. Most people copy the whole of the original card to PC then paste it back to the new card. Then use the TomTom installer on the CD to put on new maps and update the system.

If you only have a 512 SD card you will probably only get the GB plus map (GB with integrated major roads of Europe) and one other large country onto it.
