Magnetic PDA holder - Good idea?

I have just customised a mount using a magnetic PDA mount as the main fixing. This means that I can put the small adhesive magnet on the back of my aluminium case and fix it to the mount that way. It seems to be fairly strong and I don't think that it will fall off but to make sure I will put a bit of velcro on the back as well. My main question is will the magnet in the mount cause any problems with my PDA or memory cards?

I like the idea of being able to keep my 2210 in its case and the fact that the mount is quick release. If anyone can see any disadvantages please point them out.
