Adding maps on D3

Hi anyone
i just got acer n35 +D3 with uk maps loaded. I have got a bigger memory card and copied files over and added the french maps but now when i try to switch maps it tells me i need to activate the map for france.

Have i installed the french map wrong or do i need to install both uk + france at the same time with my original activation code as using the same one again doesn't work for the french map.

Hi David,

This was mentioned in a post last week. The Destinator3 software you have was probably pre-loaded with the UK &Ireland maps and the Europe maps came on two CDs, if this is the case you will have to pay for an activation key from Destinator if you want to use the Euro maps. I think they are about $90.
