Haicom 203e usb -> laptop -> viamichelin navigator 1.3

First of all, i'm new to the forums, and very new to this GPS malarky .
I've been reaing about this morning and seems a very informative site hence the reason i've joined

Anyway.....

Quick question, i've bought a haicom 203e with USB connector for my laptop, and also Viamichelins' navigator 1.3, both are nmea compatible but just want to check that they definitely will work together.
