Tomtom- holuks 230 - com port

My friend has installed Tomtom on Ipaq 2210 but he can not connect tod GPS. I have the same configuration and on my Ipac is Holux on BT comport 8, my friend says that his TT on his Ipaq offer him just BT comport 5??? How can he solve this?
