Hi all.

Just bought the Samsung D500 phone on O2 PAYG. I can't seem to connect to TTG 300.

I have paired the together
I get a bluetooth connection

But when i try and setup the connection to the TTG 300 allthough my phone connects to GPRS the TTG 300 says it can't connect.

The phone does show a connection to the TTG 300.

So getting confused now.

Any help please.
Thanks

Thats because you are using the wrong settings for the network mate. I'll double check later but I believe the tomtom go 300 does NOT support pay as you go mobiles only contract.
The usernames and gprs settings will be completely wrong if you are using contract settings and not pay as you go.

Not strictly true. The Go 300 will work with just about any bluetooth phone which supports the internet gateway service. The settings for each provider (payg or not) can be set up manually as required - in fact this is exactly what I have done on my P910i to prevent the Go from insisting on creating its own new internet profile when I want it to use one of my existing profiles.
The issue here is whether or not each operators payg service actually supports gprs internet access.
For some providers settings (ie the GPRS APN etc.) are different too depending on whether you have an inclusive data bundle or use GPRS on a purely pay as you use basis.
