| You will have the latest maps. What do you mean when you say only half your road is showing? _________________ Ian.

Depends on when the newer part of the road was put in. If in the last year, you'll probably have wait a couple of years before it shows up on any of the electronic maps. I'd not update until 2007 or so.. You'll have to buy an entirely new map at that time. |

You've got the latest map if you have just bought a new Navman. Maps are about 2 to 4 years old.
On my map, Norfolk Road has a turning off to Suffolk Close, so please explain what you mean. Also Norfolk Road continues as Suffolk Crescent. _________________ Gee-Pee

I have just tried a fixes on the intersections of Norfolk Road + Norfolk Close +Suffolk Crescent + Suffolk Road and all coincide with my Autoroute mapping, so what's your problem? Your map coordinates should be 51.43,32 N 0.40,09 E

Many thanks for your reply's I will try and explain it better.
When you turn into norfolk road it continues all the way to the end but on the 520 it says its norfolk road then onto suffolk close but suffolk close isnt hear and hasnt been for over 30 years.Hope this explains it a bit better |

Well, Ive looked on Autoroute and its exactly as you describe on Microsoft's mapping too, Norfolk Road leads into Suffolk Crescent. It's just one of those mapping anomolies where an old name has not been changed on recent mapping. Although you know as a 'local' that the whole road is now Norfolk Road, have you looked on the local street maps (in your newagent or library). Have they been changed? Maybe not!
'fraid you are going to have to put up with it. Sorry. _________________ Gee-Pee

On my street, the name is wrong on the Navman, Tomtom, all OS maps, all local street maps AND YET the street sign is there for all to see and the post office agrees with it!!!!! So all the maps are wrong. |
