Whilst using the stylus on the screen tonight I saw something I hadn't noticed before....tap the screen for the crosshairs and then drag them a little way. The street closest turns green. Tap the screen again and it goes away when the crosshairs are gone. Anyone know why?

Sounds like an "Avoid area" feature.

I too noticed this for the first time this am when noting some coordinates to save. I assumed it was to highlight the street on which the crosshairs (coordinates) lay. Idea

If someone knows precisely the reason, I too should be interested.

I thought that too, but when I added an avoid area it simply put the greyed square in the normal place.
