camera bitmaps dissapearing again!!!

hi all, all my poi bitmaps seem to dissapear after two or three times of turning the navman on. i have service pack 1 installed and thought that among other things this fault was supposed to be fixed. is my unit faulty, should i return it or is there a fix for this problem please? i have just installed the latest safety camera database two days ago, and the icons were as they should be for the two days, now they have dissapeared again. if it helps, i was looking at the maps on the unit, and the cameras were there, as i zoomed out all of a sudden they were gone and havent returned. i turned the unit off at the back to reset, but with no luck

Steev, That is exactly the problem the 510 had before SP1. The service pack did fix this fault. Are you sure you unstalled it correctly? Might be worth trying to install it again.

simon, i installed as directed and the unit seemed to accept the installation okay, i will take your advice though and reinstall sp1

I had this problem until service pack 1 was installed. The only other thing I noticed was the POI Icon visabilty. I've set mine to high and I can now zoom out to 12 Miles and they are still there.

One other thing about SP1. If it is installed all Toll roads are in Pink.

thanks guys, you were right i thought that i had sp1 installed, it was not, it is now and camera icons have stayed with me up to now!!!!
