I always thought GPS was accurate to a few feet, but my 510 seems to be 30ft out. Also it can also take an age to get a fix sometimes upto 15mins. I am begining to think I may have a faulty unit.

Cheers
Dai

At last???? someone with the same problem as me.. i sent my first one back because of it taking to long to get a fix and had it replaced for another one only to have the same problem and "no" i havn't got a reflective windscreen, sometimes like the other day i didn't get a fix at all for an hour so drove home without it in disgust having paid 400 quid for it and thats not the only time its happend, I know a lot of people are happy with the 510 but i think a lot of faulty ones are being sold.See my other posting here.http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=19408

Would like to add a further note ..I have now got rid of mine and have gone back to the Garmin which simply oozes quality and makes the navman look like a novelty ..ok so it hasnt got 3D mode but having used it now for a week it has always got a fix within 1 minuet and hasn't failed yet.. 3D and speed cameras are all ok but are no good if it cant get you were your going.

Hey you all shouldn't be complaining.

After all its a $50 pda with $30 worth of software and map..
Oh, I forgot Navman provides a Navman label and 3rd party techsupport for $190 and then theres the dealers piece as well.
