I have TTN 3 on a Hp ipaq Confused 4700 and installed the CheckPoint 3.2
It is set to start and stop with TTN3 but doesn't do anything.
On the menu for settings the SYNCHRONISE is ghosted out and when I go to SYNCHRONISE SETTINGS It asks for my email address (no problem) and then asks for POIplace security code (where do I get this from?) and then to validate.
As you may have guessed, I am new to all of this and will appriciate any help whatsoever. Confused

Looks like you need to have a good read of the checkpoint website. Once you register there they send you a security code by email. You put this into your PDA for syncronisation purposes.

I found the FAQ on the site to be very good indeed and in fact answered all the questions I had, including how to record new POIs, which is now programmed into my PDA.

Alternativel you can download Checkpoint v2 free from this site. Many regard this version as better for working alongside TomTom

You need to start checkpoint first as this then starts TT3. When you shut down TT3 this then shuts down checkpoint. Hope this helps
