the New maps will be available soon, as described in the Tomtom web site :

A remaining question I've asked is what heappens with users buying today the Maps of Western Europe for 180 euros, for example ???
Will they have to pay for the upgrade too ?
would be a shame for them !


The upgrade price for one region is 79 EUR inc. VAT (excluding shipping and handling costs) for a complete upgrade of software and maps. You will receive a pre-programmed SD card which is ready for plug-and-GO useThe upgrade price for the Maps of Western Europe is 59 EUR inc. VAT (excluding shipping and handling) for a complete upgrade of software and maps. This CD set will contain the application and the maps of 17 European countries

is there a release date for the new maps? I have pre-ordered a TTG 300 but will be travelling to France mid-June. Does anyone know if the new maps will be out by then? Confused

Your Go300 will have the latest map data that is being offered to existing go users.

Please post map upgrade questions in the main thread.
