If I purchase a second-hand copy of Destinator 3 will I be able to properly register and use it.

Yes, you will need to ask the seller to unregister his device(s) on the http://activate.destinator1.com site.

Thanks for the information. It confirms my thoughts. I was thinking of buying a copy from a Seller on eBay. Before bidding I emailed the Seller and asked if he was would do just that.

But BEWARE of this Seller. He claims not to know much about it, but replied to me that this was not necessary. Also having said the following on the description of the item "Selling off my copy of Destinator 3 --- . All codes and passwords included. Don't know much about it other than it was run on a Toshiba 740.THESE DISK ARE LIKE NEW -- Used once to install." he is now has a second auction with exactly the same description.

Sounds dodgy to me. BEWARE of this supplier.
