|

This site is excellent but I'm still a little confused about which files to download. I think I've successfully downloaded CheckPOInt v3.2 onto my iPAQ 3970 running PPC 2002. I've downloaded the Pocket GPS Safety Camera Database onto my PC then Extracted ALL the files and Folders on to my Pocket PC storage card under Great Britian Maps (I'm using Tom Tom version 2). The problem is I cannot then find the files mentioned in the instructions POCKETGPS_UK_SC.OV2 or POCKETGPS_UK_SC.BMP consequently I cannot select Overlay POCKETGPS_UK_SC.OV2 again as mentioned in the instructions. Have I done something wrong? Do these files exist? Do I need to transfer ALL the files listed on the database including the subfolders? Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Kevan. |

Thanks for the quick response - things are a little clearer but fundamentaly there are no .ov2 files in the download I captured (v3.2). For Tom Tom 2, I need .bmp files and OV2 files - how can I acquire the ov2 files? I only have .xls, .csv, .bmp and poi binary in my download?
Thanks once again,
Puzzled Kevan. |

The POI bina(i)ry files are .ov2 but they are shown as POI Bina(i)ry if you have POIEdit installed. _________________ Tim |

Thanks, hopefully I'm now in business! For .ov2 I'll read POI Binary.
Many Thanks. |
