Ok boffins here a Question
My freinds just got a ttgo because he was so impressed with mine. Trouble is he doesnt have a computer. So he has asked me if i can put all the extras ive got on mine onto hes. ie speed detectors tesco shops etc all of your excellant site.
Now heres the question i am poseing.
I have mine totally backed up on my computer ok so i know i could just copy mine on to his card.
BUT would that alter his device and activation keys ?
And would that then make it so were both useing same ttgo in efect and cause a problem.
Or Doe,s doing this seem the best idea ever thought up :D
Be ever so gratefull as to your replys.
If this is a good idea it may be a sticky for none computer owners whos mates have them.

you'd probably only need to copy the speed cam files and your other poi's like tesco's anyway so i reckon they'd be fine to copy over to your mates tomtomgo.theres not really any need to copy any other data files over apart from the poi's and favourites :D

I've done exactly that. To give a dual warning on speed cameras I took the first set from the data base and renamed them as scam_01, .._02 etc, then created another set scam_11, .._12 etc and loaded them onto my TTG. For the less computer-literate in my office I've done the same copy for them. No problems. I also took my own POI file and copied that onto their device.
