No, the language is in ROM and you cannot change this. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I'm afraid unless you want to live with German your only other option is to buy an English langauge PDA. The OS is in ROM and cannot be bought like a PC OS can, it is manufacturer specific and cannot be bought seperately. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Is it possible to get a ROM upgrade (or even downgrade) in a different language? I've never looked so I don't know if it's possible but it's just a thought. |

Only in a very few cases has this been possible and even then only when someone has hacked a ROM upgrade. Units such as the XDA had such ROMs available but they required some technical knowledge and if the upgrade failed your PDA was rendered dead.
As they have a language check a standard ROM for a different langauge will not install. I have checked and can find nothing for the Mio168. _________________ Darren Griffin |
