Do the above feature all postcodes in the UK?
is there an easy way where I coudl type in Oe1 3kj for example? And it would take a few moment to find it and generate the route on its own? I only seem to be able to see about 15 postcodes whenever i load it up. :S
Any help appreciated. 8) |

The short answer to the first question is no. The original files were compiled some time ago and quite a few are missing. A start on rectifying this was made several weeks ago, but has stopped at the moment on the promise of full Post Code navigation in the new version 5.
See http://pocketgpsworld.com/tomtom-go-5.php for more information.
On the 2nd question TTG only shows the nearest, to your current location, of any POI. If you type in the complete Post Code (don't forget the space) it will take several seconds to find it, in which case the text goes black, or it will say that it could not find it. N.B. Also make sure you using the correct area.
Next month, hopefully, it should be a lot easier. _________________ Richard

When searching for postcodes you can tap the little keyboard icon at the bottom left of the screen then type in the postcode that you want to go to.This gets round the problem of it just showing the nearest.
