Hi All

Please help.
Just bought a brand new BT318x GPS receiver, managed to get it Bluetooth paired with my XDA2i - no problem (entered 2003 code, no encryption all setup).

I see the blue light flashing quick quickly on the receiver, and the green light flashing too.
I've installed TomTom 3.07, and also tried downgrading TT GPS to version 2.06, which was recommended - still no GPS data.
I'm at wits end here trying to fix this issue.

Any help much appreciated Sad

You must use BTHTools: http://www.bluetooth.jazztel.es/.

I got it working - just bluetooth settings on the XDA2i :P

In the settings for the serial port - you should only have service enabled and Authorization required ticked. All other boxes should NOT be ticked.
Make a note of the outgoing comm port - mine is comm 6

I then just discovered the BT318 in bluetooth manager - did not pair it - no need. That's all - no pass codes etc required.

Get TomTom 3.07 up and running and used NMEA183v2 38400 and Bluetooth serial on comm 6 and BINGO !!

Hope that helps any other strugglers
