Tom Tom Navigator 3 to version 5

Maybe a silly question , but i have Tom Tom 3. Is there a version 4 i will have to download before i can update to Navigator 5. Thanks.

Hi tortoise,

No, it’s a very good question! Version 4 TomTom products are the first of the “common platform” products, i.e. GO, Mobile, Palm, and TT HP Navigation 2004.

Version 5 products are all “common platform” so it’s an ideal opportunity to bring the numbering of all of the different TomTom products into line.

So, you will jump from TomTom Navigator 3 to 5 for the PocketPC.
