You are wrong I have had plenty of experience driving I have been driving with my partner for a few years now, and also done a fair bit of driving with a qualified driving instructor too.

Hmm, in other words you have had a few years of driving lessons.

You have my most humble apologies - you are obviously a world class driver. Rolling Eyes

Regards,

Bo Peep.

Jo, you are about to embark on a life time of driving, where you will never speed, in fact you will always drive at the speed limit, regardless of conditions.

But as you drive along in a 100% perfect manner all the time please remember this short poem:

Here lie the bones of Solomon Gray,
Who died defending his right of way.
He was right, dead right, as he went along,
But just as dead as if he'd been wrong.

Regards,

In fact it is not until you pass your test that you REALLY start learning. I wish you safe driving.

im not a world class driver but I will be the worlds class person who does not break the law and think breaking the speed limit is going to get them there a bit faster but rather instead just going to kill someone on the way. As long as we got people like you who think going 120mph is ok we will always have accidents. Believe me and I am so sure on this I could reduce accidents by 50% but again no one is going to listen to me when they do it their self are they? Put it this way 9 cars out of the 10 I see are breaking the law, don’t that just tell you something? Also I bet even the people who run parliament do it their self.

If you don’t break the speed limit then why do you have such a problem with harder penalties coming in?

going back sometime ago now I rang my local police station and talk to one of the people in charge there. and asked them what is going on with the speed on the motorway. he was a nice person, talk to him for a good 30mins and he said to me the speed of what people are doing is becomeing such a problem now we just don’t have enough police resources to deal with it all. but he recognized there is a problem with the speed that people are doing on the UK roads.

As this thread is getting way Off Topic you might as well add this little saying,

"there are Old Drivers"

"there are Bold Drivers"

"But there are No Old, Bold Drivers

And for someone still on a Provisional licence, to tell drivers of many years expierience how to drive is UTTER CRAP

Hmm, you're obviously not reading the posts correctly. I don't know who you're referring to here, but neither Privateer nor I said anything about doing 120mph and I don't recall us specifically saying that we had a problem with the harsher penalties.

If you're going to quote people, please do it accurately and correctly so that there is no confusion as to who you are referring to.

Regards,

Bo Peep.

Guys I've had enough, before Jo starts telling us all how to use GPS because he's seen one in the window of Dixons and is hence an expert I'm going to lock the thread.

Lets get back to discussions on GPS shall we Laughing
