Nokia 6600, GPS-BT77 and TomTom mobile

Hi

I am looking around for a mobile which I can add GPS to and someone I know has a Nokia 6600 with GPS-BT77 but no software. He says that if I can get hold of a copy of TomTom mobile it will work fine.

On the other hand I read in an article that the TomTom software will only work with the official TomTom bluetooth receiver supplied in the box? Is this correct or will it work with the hardware detailed above?

It is going for a good price and I can get the TomTom software from work as there is a copy not being used but do not want to end up with a phone/reciever that do not work.

Any other advice would be appreciated.

The latest versions will also work with Non-TomTom BT GPS receivers.
