I am on my second ttg since chrismas
my current unit is
app 4.420 (2852/041010) os:201
32 mb ram
gps v1.21.boot 1.35
map Great britain v390
lang English uk
sd card bytestor 512mb
O and Jane

The problem is
plan a route off I go the unit will be fine for a day or two then screen goes
blank then to red hands some times it replans the route other times it says no route planed
When I am in the middle journey it's annoying
been out friday it's getting more frequent

Thanks in advance for any help

It sounds like an SD card problem. Either you 512mb card is malfunctioning (I take it it's not the original card which came with TTG) or it is not making a good contact inside the SD card holder.

Have you tried driving around with the original SD?

If it’s not an SD card issue, & I suspect it is, then it could well be a power issue. Try running just on batteries a while and see if it keeps doing it.

monday moved ttg from the heater vents it worked ok all day
to day I did not set a route but had the ttg on
and on my way to work it went to start up three times it set a route to my home(favourite)
so I stop the route and removed the power lead
So now runing on it's own battery all is fine for half hour then it started again
has my ttg had it

Don’t give up just yet, you have to admit it does all appear to all point towards the card though!
Sad
If that still causes problems then it may well be a return. Unless anybody else can think of something I missed? Question
