Hi

Ipaq 2210, BT TomTom, Navigator 3.GB and maps of Europe.
I have never used TT3 outside UK.
I am travelling to Disneyland on 3rd march and have the following questions:

Can I switch maps from GB to major roads of Europe whilst still in UK
If so, do I just enter the actual address of the park or has anyone any better advice regarding address info?

Or do I wait until I'm across the channel before switching maps?

Any advice from anyone whose done this journey before gratefully recieved.

i am travelling from jct 30 M25 btw.

apologies for basic questions

Cheers

Mark

If I were you, I would swap to the France map when you get across the Channel. Put Disneyland in as a POI before you set out..... Here is the location from an earlier thread.

Steve
thanks but the link isn't working for me.
can you check and try again please.
I phoned the Uk offices for Disneyland and asked for the postal address but what they gave me does not make any sense to TT3 or even Multimap.

They gave me:

BP100
77777 Marne La Vallee
Cedex 4
France

Thanks

ok
I've just searched and found an old thread with multimap info of location and also the lat and longtitude:

Lat:
48:52:24N (48.8732)
Lon:
2:46:16E (2.7712)

How can I use the above data with TT3.

Is htere a way of entering data to instruct TT to navigate to the position?

Thanks

Oops sorry.....

http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?lat=48.8732&lon=2.7712&scale=10000&icon=x

You can zoom in and out on Multimap. Like I said, set up a new POI using Map view, and just navigate to it.

the problem with using MRE is that the small roads will not be on the map when you get there...... Wink

While I think of it......

Is there a way to print out the written instructions that TT produces when plotting a route?

Understood you had the maps of Europe. MRE will certainly get you there if you do not have the individual map of France. I always carry a map anyway, just in case....

You cannot print out the directions from TT3. Try www.viamichelin.com very good website for directions across France, etc.
