Anyone know of a review for this?

http://www.lowestonweb.com/Products/DisplayInfoMain.asp?e=7382CF1C-3F5A-44E7-A191-73DAB6BBF3B8&CMP=BAC-NAVPDA

I think it was mentioned on another thread a while back that Dave had one for review?

The Medion version uses Destinator 3, where as the Navigon version uses Navigon MN|4.

Hi guys, I am new to this gps malarky but it all looks so amazing I am starting to overcome my technophobia!
Anyway, I was just wondering how the review of the navigon bluemedia was coming along. It's just that makro have it in their sale next week at £200 +vat for the uk map version and £249+vat for the uk and europe maps version. Seems like a bargain!??
So I have narrowed my confusion down to two questions;
1, should I buy it?
2, Is it possible to load the europe maps onto the uk version and save an extra £50, Am I tight or what! :D

Thanks very much in advance

Hi

New to these forums

As Oddjob i noticed makro's offer for navigon bluemedia PNA @ £199 + Vat for UK map is this a good price? is the product any good, or is it worth purchasing a more expensive system.

Any advice?

Yours truly, a novice

Yes it's a good price, the hardware is identical to the Medion PNA150 but differs as it runs Navigon Mobile Navigator.

I have just completed field tests of this model and will be publishing a review soon.

It'll be on-line by the end of this week, only returned from CeBIT early Saturday morning and being Welsh the rugby took precedence!

As I said previously, if you can get the Navigon BlueMedia for £199 + VAT then you won't be dissappointed.

Just bought this product from Makro. UK version was only £199 ex VAT!!!!!

So far so good. The same product as Evesham are selling for £399.99!

The guy at the Washington store said they'd almost sold out, and that was at 10:15 this morning!!!

Will come back with more info once I've played with the product a bit.

I purchased one from Makro today the UK map version, it was not a Bluemedia version, but Transonic 3002, few set-up problems, had to reset it, after that all ok.

I was travelling to Chichester gate, a cinema complex been built over a year, not on the Navigon map had to find a nearest road, got me there and back, tried to fool it by taking different routes, but it recalculated within seconds.

Still early days any problems will post.

Like some other posters I brought this unit today at Macro. I went for the UK & Europe version (249.99+VAT) with an eye on our summer hols and touring Northern France.

So far, so good. Like Latts, it's actually a Transmedia unit in a Navigon box. I did not experience any problems with set-up.

It's in my Picasso (hence the Nickname here!), and works well near front quarterlight window. I know some Picasso owners have had problems with other models due to reflective nature of main windscreen.

I look forward to reading Darren's review. So far, I am very happy and look forward to many happy hours driving around with my new Sat Nav. Also plan to try it out on the bike!

Hi guys nice forum, I to have just bought one of these from mackro. I am new to all this PNA stuff and was wondering can I use the PIO Warner software with this PNA and if so how do I set it up for speed cameras.

I have seen some links for other PNA's on how to set them up but confused with all the tech talk...

thanks
Flack. :D
