On going to the Forums.
View posts since last visit.
There are 25 forums showing new posts.
Time of my last visit was
Wed Feb 23 2005 12:07pm
Time of this visit given as Thur Feb 24 2005 1:39am
All I get is the information bar displaying
No Topics or posts met your criteria.
Also going to View Unanswered posts I get Search Found 2076 matches, and shows the first page of 42. The first page has posts but going to any other of the remaining 41 pages i get the Information Bar displaying.
No Topics or Posts met your criteria.
Any reasons for this? _________________ Graham.

Hi xda,
When this happens it is usually due to a corrupt cookie in your temporary internet files folder. Try clearing your internet history and deleting the Pocket GPS World cookie and logging in again.
HTH.

Hi Bo Peep,
Deleted all the history and cookies and still get the same.
So as a last resort I used the laptop which has never connected to this site and got exactly the same. _________________ Graham.

Check which site you are logging into.
Do you use .com or .co.uk ? swapping between the two can have strange results not unlike what you are experiencing.
Other strange phenomenon include new posts remaining 'new' even after they have been viewed.
This may not be your problem but it's easy to do especially if you follow links so it's worth checking. _________________ Ian.

Still feel there is a problem, unless I am reading the option wrong.
If I log on then go to Forums click on veiw post since my last visit, it will list all the new posts since the time of my previous visit. ie if it is 4 hours since my last visit and they have been 20 new posts then I should see a list of 20 posts, Not " No Topics or Post met your criteria"
Anyway when I logged on at 11:44am I got the following.
"You last Visited on Fri Feb 25, 2005 9:37am"
"The Time now is Fri Feb 25, 2005 11:44am
Go to new post since last visit and I get "No Topic or Posts met your Criteria"
So I ignore this and go through the forums and post a couple of replies
by now the time is 12:15.
So just to try again the New Post since last visit and this time it comes up with "Search Found 1 Match dated Fri Feb 25, 2005 12:09pm
Yet I'm still on the board and have been since 11:45am.
Any comments from either Dave or Darren. _________________ Graham.

I log in via a shortcut on the desktop which takes me to the same place each time .co.uk _________________ Graham.

Cancel that, I see its BTO. I'm not having any of these issues, when I return and select the new posts option I see the posts that have ocurred since my last visit.
Try flushing your cache and then visiting the .com address and logging in. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I posted a similar question a month or so ago and the problem was rectified by logging on to www.pocketgpsworld .com and accessing the forum from there! any other method resulted in not showing any new posts since last vist

Thanks Darren and oddsock, switched to www.pocketgpsworld.com and logged back in. Can't try the View New posts since last visit as I have just been on read your replies then logged off to change the address.
Did just try the View all unanswered posts and that is now working correctly, ie I get posts in all the pages now rather than just the first.
Will try the view new posts since last visit after I've been to bed as only got in from work half hour ago. _________________ Graham.

Thanks Guys, got it all working properly again. New Post since last visit 92 and all visible.
Still puzzled as to why .com should work and .co.uk not. _________________ Graham.
