Garmin GPS 60, Just bought one!!

Awaiting delivery for it! They are new out and the budget version of the posh GPS 60 CS

Looking forward to getiing it!

Any advice on which mapping software to by for my laptop and also where to buy Garmin waypoint software stuff?

Garmin do a Trip and Waypoint manager, I don't know if a copy comes witth the GPS or not.

Also have a look at these programs which allow you to view your waypoints, tracks and routes overlaid on a map, demo versions are available:

You don't say where you are located, if you are in the UK and use your GPS with OS maps, then you should check out how the OSGB grid system works and switch your GPS to OSGB.

I hate to admit this, but I am a GEOGRAPHY teacher!!! I know this already, just expected it to be something more complicated for some reason!!!!
