I'd like a way to be able to create my own list of POI's without having to use TomTom on the PDA as it's quite fiddly!
Instead what I would like to do is set them in Memory Map as marks and give each one a name, and then, somehow, export them for use with TomTom.
Is this possible?
(They aren't POI's which would likely be on any downloadable list, just a group of places of interest to me personally) |

You are aware, aren't you, that you can tap and hold on the map screen of Navigator 3 to create a POI?
There are ways of building POIs in other products - though I'm not sure on the details of using Memory Map.

You may want to have a read of this guide to creating a POI, written by Bo Peep.

Hi there
I haven't done this conversion myself, but I believe that Oldie's POIConvertor program will convert .MXF files, which Memory Map can export, into .OV2 overlay files for TomTom. This and his other programs are available here:

Quite so, and I've used this method to input around a dozen POI's for my local area. However I would like to put in a lot more but the thought of using the map interface on my pocket pc puts me off! |
