and yes, it's a good chipset. No worries there. You can even try to keep the antenna collapsed to the body of the PDA, and should still have sufficient signal. _________________ Lutz

I see the same problem as Curare. Apart from that D3 is fine, but living in a new town (with roundabouts at almost every junction), it's starting to irritate. Destinator don't appear to respond to email requests for support. I guess I'll have to phone them. |

OK so if you're using TomTom navigator 3 & the Acer n35, which GPS setting do you use? Does it matter? |

Just did a search on Acer n35 chipset and a number of websites came up with the gps chipset stated. |

hi all, from where did u buy acer n35? i waz looking at expansys.. infact i put up a message asking about it.. so i'm glad to hear about it.. some one suggested halfords mediones but all the stock gone it seems...
can u use tt3 with acer if i want to do so? thanks again. |

Buy from ebuyer or morecomputers both will sell it for £250 inc vat with a bit of p&p.
I think it is good value as it is up to £100 cheaper than a mio168 package and the pda is no better or worse. As opposed to buying a dedicated satnav in this price range you also get the full functionality of a pda as well. |

hi i just checked acer website. manufaturer says unlike other pda's this one has louder speakers so that can be heard in noisy environments!!
just asking people who use it out there can u hear when ur car sterio is on?? |
