Additional antenna for Tomtom Bluetooth GPS

So that I can stash the bluetooth Tomtom GPS receiver somewhere out of sight I'd like to get an optional antenna to plug into it. This is an unfortunate requirement as the applet says that my signal strength drops a lot putting the reciever where I want it. The specs say that the connector on the unit is MC female, so will any antenna with an MC Male plug do? I'd just like something that will stick to the bottom corner of the windscreen (but with no external-to-the-car part). Can anyone recommend anything?
