It could be that like Destinator the Navigon OEM system can use any map data provider. That would allow system builders to create systems to suit their own requirements and price points.

There is already a keyboad available, you need to tap the SIP button on the bottom right of the taskbar.

Hi
I just purchased a MDPNA 175 (think its the same as the 150) from Halfords in Inverness so far I am very pleased with it :D I asked the guy who sold it if there was a western european map available from Medion and he said that they are releasing one soon. If they don't release one can I use destinator 3 for europe on this PNA as I am off to the Alps on my motorbike in June I hope the battery will last 10 hours as it will save me having to wire up the bike.

cheers Bob

Hello,

does anybody know why several programs do not work on this device?
Error : not a valid Windows CE application....
I have tried programs on the GPSPassion site but only 2 worked fine.
Any other site with freeware programs?

Cheers, Rob

The unit runs WinCE.Net which is a variant of PocketPC but not the same OS. hence the errors.

Anyone know if Euro maps are available for Medion 150/175

Are the maps from medion pna100 likely to work?
The map data is from same company so in theory there
is no reason why not!

Hi, I am new to the forum and trying to modify my Medion. I have downloaded the zip file Custom 150. I have 4 folders:Bureau, Standard, Custom_Medion_150(doc file in french) and RegEdit.
I have created 4 short cuts on the start up screen but there is no taskbar.

Please Help

Hi Drex
I have been asking the same question re European maps on this forum and beginners forum and also emailed Medion UK but as yet they did not reply, so I phoned them up and the answer I got was as much use as a chocolate watch basically keep looking at there website from time to time I will give it an other week and then take the unit back for a Garmin quest or something like it. Pity realy as it is a good PDA spoiled by lack of info from suppliers.

Mike G follow Darrens post re taskbar.exe further up this page.

cheers Bob
