hi i recently bought a ipaq + tom tom 3 from ebay
after using it for 3 times it totally dissapeared off the ipaq so i re-instaled it back onto the ipaq only to find out the disc i got with it was a copy so i had to get the bloke who sold me it to give me the codes so after getting that i got the tom tom software back onto the ipaq only now to find the gps keeps saying GPS position unreliable the charger in the car is working and the green light is flashing on the reciever so im at a loss here!! i paid just over 300 pound for this have i been ripped off ? |

hello the software says TOMTOM NAVIGATOR 3 the disc has been lazer printed (looks real)
the ipaq is a ipaq pc h3800 series
it was working when i recieved it but i only used it 3 times !! i left positive feedback for the guy i bought it off so a refund now seems remote
so any help here is much apreiciated |

im not clued up on these things but it is a silver square thing with a lead going into it that conects into the car ciggy lighter and into the ipaq, on it is says tomtom on the box i got it in it says TomTom Navigator |

That sounds like the TomTom Wired GPS. You need to check that the GPS Applet (accessed from the Menu Screen 'GPS Status') in TomTom is configured for 'TomTom Navigator GPS' and 'Serial on COM1:'. _________________ Darren Griffin |
