TomTom Startup Freezes

I've got a IPAQ RX3715 connected to a Road Angel which supplies the GPS data, now I have a problem whereby upon restarting TomTom it just hangs at the spinning disc or the application fails to start at all. I'm currently running 3.01 and wondered if anyone has any suggestions/fixes for this problem. The only way to make it work again is to soft reboot the IPAQ.

try upgrading to 3.07 and see if that helps maybe reinstalling the map to the storage card might work to

I've tried 3.07, the spinning disc appears and stays there. With 3.01 nothing happens when you application is opened.

What GPS driver does 3.01 use?

have you any other programs running in the bacjground tt usually wont run if the calender is open in the background
try a softreset then run tt if not completely remove tt then reinstall try loading a small map section on the ppc itself if it works delete the storage card format it then reistall the uk map to the storage card

There were no other programs running.

I've tried reinstalling a couple of times, what do you mean by a small map section, I only have the UK Maps.

Just to make clear, It's does work, it just intermittantly doesnt start up.
