Sorry if this topic has been covered - if so please can someone give me the link - but I have TTN3, 3950 and NAVMAN sleeve. Only had it a few days and want to put some PoI's on.
I am using OV2 tools to read and create the Overlay files. However, the co-ordinates on TTN3 are in the format:
000 52'53"W
051 56'39"N
for example, but the output .asc file lists it differently, in another format like -0.77899 , 51.83119
Is there a conversion tool I can use or can somebody explain the process?

Many thanks.
The TomTom MakeOV2 program and my own programs will accept data in degrees, mins, secs format but you would have to format it as follows (with longitudes west of Greenwich negative)
-000'52"53, 051'56"39,"text"
but you can also leave out the leading zeros, ie
-0'52"53, 51'56"39,"text"
It is also acceptable to relace both ' and " with a colon character : . This is the form that I prefer.
