Does anybody use this combination? I've just got an XDAiis and understand there are a few bluetooth problems?
Also does anyone use the receiver on-foot? I really like the look of the SmartST v3 software but the hardware looks a little bit oversized (presumably because of the batteries).
And finally, is Navman support any good? I e-mailed them a question about compatibility and they e-mailed me back two weeks later with a link to the 4410's compatibility with the XDii (without the 's')!! Not a good start.
Thanks

I use the receiver on foot (but not with an XDA).
It is slightly smaller than the average PC mouse and slips into a pocket quite easily, does not lose signal and in my experience is remarkably accurate when using OS maps and WGS84.
The AAA batteries are also a useful feature as I can easily buy and carry spares so there is no fear of running out of power.
As with all online support channels, they must get hundreds of mails every day but that does not excuse them from not replying a bit sooner than two weeks.
Generally things are good but if your request is urgent it may be better to ring. _________________ Ian.

I have similiar experiences with their lack of email support. Calling their technical support by 'phone on the other hand was a much better experience. |

Thank you icsys
Received a much quicker reply from Navman (although they're still apologising for the delay!) which this time gave compatibilty details on the 4420. However they still cant get it out of their heads that I'm talking abaout the XDAIIs and not the XDAII.
I've asked them to have another look (they're going to be even more confused when the XDAIIi comes out ). I also might ask O2 (though past experience suggests that O2's customer service is worse than Navmans). In the meantime can I ask once more - has anyone used these two products together? I'd really like to buy something that I can use straight away without having to mess around with patches and ROM downloads etc.
Thanks once again
