Speed Camera POI's for the new version of Mapsonic

I have not received any software download from anyone and I have treid numerous times to contact Michelin with no success.
Does this uk software really exist ????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crying or Very sad

If you go to the home page of this web site, you can download the speed camera database, and import the .asc files as a POI. I have just done it and it works a treat.

I am well pleased.

I resized the icons to 16 x 16, then created the POI category.

Then I used the POI Manager to import the .asc into the new category. I worked a treat.

Cheers MisterT, should get my palm/mapsonic kit in the next few days (ordered on ebay). Will give it a try when it arrives. I tried resizing the icons but they looked pretty poor as the detail disapeared and I couldn't fit it back in. How did yours turn out?

Yes, they do look poor and small on a PC but once you put them on a PDA which is lower res it looks ok.

I actually managed to try it out yesterday, the icon shows up and there's a sound it makes about 200 meters before you get to the camera then another one we you are about 2 seconds away. It works very well.
