GPS Upgrade

Hi all It’s been a while since my last post.

I am thinking of getting either one of the following.
A Navman ICN610, ICN510 of a Pin. (There are some good deals on at the moment)
I have a 4410 & an Ipaq 2210 with Smart ST V2, with full Europe maps. I am to believe that ST V3 only comes with base maps of Europe. If I purchase a large SD card can I run my V2 Europe maps which is for my 4410 with one of the above without any problems.
I intend to upload the maps onto the SD card via a card read/ write from the PC.
My Son has managed to convince me to part with my 4410 so that he can install Memory Map so that he can use it for cross country flights as he is a Para glider pilot & I do not use the Ipaq for anything else.

As I understand it, your V2 maps would work with V3 on a PPC, but not on the iCN series. However, if you keep them registered to your 2210 then you'd have to buy another licence to use them on a PiN. If you buy a PiN300 you'll get V3 UK maps and a European basemap and you could upgrade to the full European Streetmaps for £149. The same would apply to an iCN510. I'm not sure about the 610.
