Haicom 2254 PDA Amplified Mount for 5450

Hi,

Trying to decide between a Haicom Amplified Mount for 5450 (Haicom2254) or the Sedio 2500.

Have read some feedback on theSeidio but none on Hiacom. Can anyone please advise?

I had a very early 2500 for my ipaq 2210 - in my opinion it was a total waste of money.

My ipaq got hot, the speaker was dire, the cig power cord broke 3 times (seidio replaceed each one without any hassle at all so great customer service) before I finally gave up on it and tossed it. The new units being produced now are apparently better.

I've got 2 of the haicom mounts one for me and one for my father had mine 6 months - his 4 months - and the quality of both has been excellent no problems - I use a bt unit but my dad has a haicom gps mouse plugged into the cradle and neither unit has given any grief at all.

I think I only paid 30 quid for each of them and for the cash they can't IMHO be beaten (they are also much neater in the flesh than when shown on the web sites).
