I have an Ipq 5500 which works well with TomTom3 and my Fortuna .... couldn't ask for it to work better.

BUT... SmartMap can't see the Fortuna at all.
I've tried their FAQ etc, but their suggestions still don't work.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Has anyone any ideas?

regards

This has been discussed a lot of times. Please read the instructions in the TomTom forum how to remove the current TomTom GPS driver and replace it with version 2.07

I seem to have v3..3 415/417 installed already.
(Went to file ... GPS status .... GPS and read the version number from the bottom right hand side. .... is this the correct place to look for the TomTomGPS version number please?

Should I revert to the 2.07 version to make my SmartMap software work?

...if so is it likely to muck up my other stuff which seems to work fine?

So many questions ... sorry.

regards... and thanks again.

Yes, you should revert to version 2.07
No, it will not "muck up" anything else - as opposed to version 3.03 which DOES "muck up" everything
